Product Description

Turbo Dork Wavelength TurboShift is a colour-shifting acrylic from the Turbo Dork TurboShift range - a paint themed around the physics of electromagnetic wavelength and the specific quality of a single wave of light shifting through its colour registers: moving between blue and purple in the specific palette of light at the boundary between visible and ultraviolet, where a single wavelength difference produces a dramatically different colour experience. A technical, precise shift for painters with a scientific register.

Use for Adeptus Mechanicus and T'au models where the electromagnetic physics reference suits technology-oriented faction aesthetics, for Thousand Sons and Tzeentch models where arcane wavelength and the boundary between known and unknown suits the sorcerous aesthetic, for psychic energy effects and aura details where the shift between blue and purple suggests warp-adjacent power output, for sci-fi terrain and technology models where signal and transmission surfaces should appear as shifting electromagnetic colour, and for display models where the shift quality should feel measured and precise rather than theatrical or dramatic. Apply over dark primer for the full range between blue and deep purple in the shift.

A blue-to-purple electromagnetic colour-shift for Adeptus Mechanicus, Tzeentch and psychic energy surfaces.
