Product Description

Citadel Base Caliban Green is a Base paint from Games Workshop - a deep, rich forest green that forms the foundation for Dark Angels Space Marine chapter armour in the standard Citadel painting system. Named for Caliban, the destroyed homeworld of the Dark Angels, Caliban Green is darker and richer than Waaagh Flesh, providing the specific shadowed, brooding forest green that defines the Dark Angels' Chapter aesthetic. It provides strong coverage over black primer and builds naturally toward Warpstone Glow and Moot Green highlights in the standard Dark Angels recipe.

Use as the base coat for all Dark Angels and successor chapter (Deathwing companion schemes, Angels of Absolution adjacent) power armour, for Nurgle daemon armies where a clean, rich dark green serves as the primary skin foundation before shading with Biel-Tan Green and highlighting with Warboss Green, for Seraphon sacred temple and jungle scenery in deep green, and for any model requiring a genuine dark forest green - not the almost-black darkness of Nocturne Green, but a clearly identifiable deep green with richness and saturation. Apply over black primer for a single-coat foundation. Layer with Warpstone Glow → Moot Green for the standard Dark Angels highlight recipe.

A deep forest green Base paint for Dark Angels chapter armour and rich green colour schemes.
