Citadel Paint Sets
Citadel paints are made for miniature painting, with different paint types suited to different stages and techniques. Base paints establish strong colour, Layer paints build lighter tones and highlights, and Shade paints settle into recesses to add depth. Contrast, Technical, Dry and Air paints cover other approaches, while sprays are useful for preparing or colouring larger areas.
The wider Citadel Colour range includes more than 300 paints in a broad choice of colours and finishes. Familiar names such as Mephiston Red, Caliban Green and Macragge Blue appear throughout established Citadel colour schemes, but they can be used on any model where the colour suits the project. Paint type matters as much as shade: a Dry paint, Air paint and standard pot are formulated for different jobs. Individual pots are useful for replacing favourites or extending an existing palette.
