Three kits have alternative builds. The Tyrannofex can become a Tervigon, the Haruspex can become an Exocrine, and the Maleceptor can become a Toxicrene. If built as a Tyrannofex, its weapon options include a rupture cannon, acid spray or fleshborer hive. The Tervigon alternative has a choice of crushing claws or scything talons.
